Installing and Using your Web server on a Macintosh

Macintosh users using OS X version 10.5 or later should use the following instructions to download and install the current MAMP version of the Web server:

Web Server installation (MAMP) for Mac OS X later than OS X 10.4

Macintosh users using OS X 10.4 should either upgrade to OS X 10.5 or use the following instructions to download and install the previous MAMP version of the Web server:

Web Server installation for Mac OS X 10.4.

IMPORTANT: After installing the Web Server, all Macintosh users should also download the following zip file which contains a Webtech folder with the textbook samples and coursework files. Be sure to download the correct version of the Webtech folder for your textbook edition.

Webtech folders for SECOND EDITION (692KB)

Your MAMP installation instructions (above) explain how to add this folder to the htdocs folder of your MAMP installation.
